New Band Smell : The Vaccines

This is why we have New Band Smell. The Vaccines have no web presence, a single half-assed promo shot (which, I’m hoping is actually of them, because I stole it from NME) and a demo version of a damn sweet song. That’s it. Again. if NME is to be believed, Jay Jay Pistolet is involved with The Vaccines in some capacity, as is Freddie Cowan, whose brother Tom is a member of The Horrors. Mind you, it’s a demo, but there’s a lot to like here. Sounds kinda like a happy-go-lucky bizarro world version of Jesus And Mary Chain or a post-rehab Spiritualized.
