Photo Recap: Miike Snow and Klangstof @ Old National Center

Breathing new life into the term “dynamic duo,” Miike Snow and Klangstof made it easy to forget the rain and general dreariness in Indy on June 20th. Beginning the night with a wordless yet powerful intro, Klangstof brought an emotional set that kept the crowd swaying and hanging on every rare lyric uttered by frontman Koen van de Wardt. Although their words were sparse, their effortless banter with the crowd and endearingly playful stage presence made for a colorful set.

Miike Snow quickly transformed the intimate venue into one thriving with energy as they kicked off their set with “Trigger.” Their performance was pleasantly unpredictable with members constantly switching instruments during an ever-changing light show. As they wrapped up their set, the crowd seemed reluctant to return to the rainy evening, instead craving the vivid oasis Klangstof and Miike Snow provided that night.
