Photo Recap: Glass Animals @ Old National Center

It’s finally summer here in Indy, but the way Glass Animals perform you’d think the English quartet spend their time coasting through a solid twelve months of the stuff. The band set the Egyptian Room awash with tropical colors and pulsing funk, their white sneakers twitching and bounding across the stage. All this while the sold out crowd danced and shrieked, hurled neon wayfarers into the air, and generally partied like school just let out. There might be cities closer to a coastline and with a consistently warmer climate, but last Friday you’d be hard pressed to find a more pure distillation of that energy than right here in the midwest.
