Sleeping Bag, the Bloomington, Indiana project spearheaded by Dave Segedy along with live members Nick Harley and Peter Doyle, have a fourth long-play, Wet, arriving on August 11th via Warm Ratio. Tracking for the record started early last year with Segedy’s friend, Tyler Smith, on a Yamaha four track in the Secretly Canadian Distribution warehouse where they both used to work. Recording guru Paul Mahern if Zero Boys mastered it thereafter. The record is full of loose, heady rock tracks varying in intensity, but always laced with an underlying grit to keep it genuine. “Doin’ It Alone” is the first cut from the release might be the most accessible. Clocking in just under a couple of minutes, the no-nonsense song is instantly relatable conveying those moments when you just want someone to share the load and are cracking under the weight.
