The Pass released their latest collection of stylized electronic-pop songs last year with the album Canyons. Themes of escape and fractured relationships are packaged with instant hooks and tight production. The most fully realized of the bunch might be the opening track “It’s OK” overcome with dark landscapes and sprawling synth work. Directed by Matt Fulks, tThe visual falls in line with the ’80s-indebted production matching neon-lit dark rooms and a story that falls somewhere between Miami Vice, Driver, and a Tarantino flick. With the new video also comes a few select live dates starting tomorrow. There is no word yet on new music from the band, but based on their track record, we wouldn’t be surprised to see something in the very near future.
