Meg Remy, who records under the moniker U.S. Girls, has returned with her first music under new label 4AD. According to the press release, “Damn That Valley” revolves around the “inner monologue of a war widow who can find no justification for her husband’s death” and was produced with frequent collaborator Onakabazien. The track maintains Remy’s avant-garde pop construction with this one having sort of a acid-laced reggae feel to it. You can listen to the track via the video for it below shot in Washington, D.C.
