October 14th will see the release of the eponymous debut EP from Mall Walk, the brooding rock band hailing from Oakland, CA. It will be released via singer-guitarist Rob I. Miller’s label, Vacant Stare Records, and was produced by Monte Vallier, who most recently had a hand in Weekend’s solid LP from last year, Jinx. The first song from the EP is “Teen Missing”. The song starts off as a thoughtful interplay between the bass and drums, only to burn apart under dissident screeching guitar work that will carry you back to the best of the early ’90s. Expect to hear more of this promising trio. Listen below.
