The early seeds of Brooklyn band Relations were planted way back in the 90’s where members Michael Sanders and Terence Murren first came together to form a Modern Lovers cover band. After following their own projects (Officer May, Ace Fu Records, Abigail Warchild), the pair came together a couple of years back with Matthew Chokshi to round out the lineup and released their self-titled EP. On April 1st, the trio will return with the follow-up to that and their debut LP, Songbirds, on 100M Records.

They have already revealed the bass-heavy track “Goodbyes,” now we get another song “Take No Sides” with a visual directed by Evan Savitt. Rooted in new wave and dance-punk, it combines scorching, tight guitar lines sprinkled with synths over a fast-paced head-bouncing drum beat. We are sure it will get you jumping around just like the girl in the video. Watch/listen below.
