MOKB Premiere : Night Panther : “Fire”

Back in September, we posted a fantastic cover of Grizzly Bear’s “Two Weeks” by Doylestown, PA’s Night Panther. The group, originally consisting of best friends Farzad Houshiarnejad and Mike Cammarata, now has added members Christopher Radwanski and Marissa Lesnick to create what they call sex pop. They have a full-length in the works, but in the meantime, they have been releasing loose songs and videos. Their latest song that they have so kindly offered us to premiere is the steady building “Fire”. The song starts off sounding like the previously mentioned Grizzly Bear only to grow into a synthed-out breakdown with Bee Gees styled vocals. It is a incredibly great listen and confirms that this is a band to keep your eyes on. Listen to and download it below.
