Jack Tatum, aka Wild Nothing, will release his new album, Nocturne, on August 28th through Captured Tracks. The album is the follow-up to 2010’s highly-buzzed about Gemini. In preparation of the new release, Tatum is turning his website into a working lunar calendar that uses geo-tracking to display accurate moon phases, luminosity, rises and moonsetsall over the world. In addition, the site includes tour dates, mixes and revealing a free download of the new single “Paradise”. The song is the second from the LP in addition to the hazy “Shadow” we posted a couple of months back. According to Tatum, the lunar theme come from the “great deal of restlessness that went into the creation of this album. The moon cycle has come to represent this for me; a slowly changing symbol of where these songs feel most at home, asleepless state of mind.”
