Video : Afghan Whigs : I’m Her Slave (Live on Jimmy Fallon)

The mighty Afghan Whigs are back after a 13 year hiatus. Of course, leader Greg Dulli has busied himself during that time with Twilight Singers, Gutter Twins, as a solo artist and even talking to MOKB, but it’s great to have this band reborn and bringing a healthy dose of self-loathing back to popular music.

Fans are still waiting for news of a full-blown American tour, but we do know the band will be making appearances at Lollapalooza, the Austin City Limits Festival and the Dulli-curated I’ll Be Your Mirror in Asbury Park and London.

Hey Dulli, get Minneapolis on the schedule and we’ll catch that Twins game. Dogs and beers on me!

Last night, the band took to the stage of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and busted out their latest dip into the cover tune pool and an oldie but a goodie from Congregation, I’m Her Slave.

Have you downloaded their cover of Marie “Queenie” Lyons’ See And Don’t See yet? Here’s your chance, and it’ll only cost you an email address.
