Album Stream + Tour Dates : This Will Destroy You : Tunnel Blanket

The pride of San Marcos, This Will Destroy You has been on something of a roller coaster as of late. From winning hearts and minds at SXSW, to having their van snatched on the mean streets of San Antonio, they have been alternately living the dream and the nightmare of young band’s everywhere.

The van, and all equipment, was later recovered, and good thing because these wordless post-rockers need to get out on the road to support their upcoming sophomore release, Tunnel Blanket (get it May 10th on Suicide Squeeze). Produced by John Congleton (Explosions In The Sky, Modest Mouse, Chairlift), Tunnel Blanket finds the quartet making good on the promise of their self-titled debut, dishing up butterfly wing and angry hornet instrumentals that draw listeners in before unceremoniously pinning their ears back. In fact, we’re so sure of Tunnel Blanket’s face-melting dynamism, we offered to host a stream of the record in our backyard so you can get a little taste before all the neighbors start talking This Will Destroy You.
