Formerly known as Ex Lion Tamers, the North London five-piece comprising Wild Palms are set to make their Stateside debut with Until Spring this April. The band’s bassist is producer Gareth Jones, who’s also worked with Grizzly Bear and These New Puritans, so the production is in good hands, but it’s front man Lou Hill who shines brightly with his stunning tenor. Certain comparisons to The Cure are a given, but Wild Palms carves out their own original territory on songs like To The Lighthouse.
