MP3 : Tokyo Police Club – Your English Is Good (live on

While Tokyo Police Club have made a name for themselves with high energy indie rock, this session features a stripped, almost folk-like Tokyo Police Club. Monks and Hook pick up acoustic guitars, Wright turns down his keyboard (at times plucking a ukulele instead), and Alsop simplifies his set to a bass drum and a tambourine, leaving the melody and lyrics to stand out on their own. The result is a unique look into the essence of Tokyo Police Club’s song writing ability that shows Tokyo Police Club songs are upbeat and catchy to the core.
